Standard metric fasteners, I swapped mine out for SST button heads, looks a little cleaner than a hex head. Might be 5mm.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Thanks, Monkey.

Take one out and match it up at the hardware store next time you are in town.

Also...If you have removed the brake line holders, don't forget to add a couple of washers under the fender tabs.......

I still have those. My front fender succumbed to vibrations and flew away at 70 mph. I want to put some rubber in between the mounting surface and the plastic. Also have to fix some cracks in the fleabay fender at the bolt holes. Jb weld i guess, never used it before.

Get the fork brace, that is why the mounting holes have cracks. The forks flex and the sheet metal brace barely helps. As long as the flexing continues the cracking will as well.

Well, the fleabay fender came with the oem brace, so now i have 2. Might weld them together with some ammo can steel in between. Cant really afford to spend any more cash on her, school coming up in jan.

also, the fleabay fender i have hat the side mounting holes broken off, ant the top ones are cracked, hence the $15 price. BUT better than mud in my face, for now.

Use electrical tape to keep the sides secure and the cracked holes from getting worse. Red tape matches so close to the OEM color on my 86' so you really don't notice it.
