I was hoping to make the announcement once I had the product in hand, but to prevent having to answer a bunch of individual emails, here is the scoop.

The recent posts have been just a little premature, but as of Monday October 22, 2012 RPM is now the US importer for Renntec Products. The initial buy in order has been placed, boxed, shipped and scheduled for arrival at the shop today.

Unfortunately, I am at work through Sunday, so they will be up on the website on Monday.

I have ordered and will stock both the early and late version of the FJ engine protection bars. I will also be adding more FJ specific inventory as I place the next order as well inventory for other makes & models of bikes.

The final retail price has not been finalized yet I have to calculate the final shipping costs into the product, and I will have those numbers when the product arrives.

With the previous vendor, Revs Performance going out of business, Renntec was looking for a US importer company and I was in the right place at the right time.

Look for an update no later than Monday night when the Renntec FJ engine protection bars have been added to the RPM website.

Ah so that's what was coming from Dorset!  Didn't ask before as it was none of my Beeswax!

These are the bars on my bike!  They are very good!!

It's strange I have been looking at several different items from several different retailers in the last couple of weeks and they all seem to be based Dorset, how bizarre!
A life has been well lived, if you have planted trees under who's shade you do not expect to sit.

I'm told I'm cynical, pessimistic and generally miserable. I say that I'm realistic! The fact that reality sucks is not my fault!

I have them too; they look good, protect the heart of your machine should it tip over and they are a useful mounting point for extra lights and cameras.

Anyone who is thinking of putting the rentec bars onit is a good idea. I found that it seemed to stiffen the frame up a bit, made it bit tighter in the twisties. Big R

The engine bars have been added to stock and ready to be shipped out.

Each kit contains the right & left bar as well as the mounting hardware required for installation.
