Well. After getting my mirrors and indicator fixed and eradicating some annoying rattles, I proceeded on a test flight. :yahoo: All excited and pleased with yesterdays achievments  I set about a test flight cause thats what it nearly was. Hadnt ridden it in 10 days. Fjs Still on the permit which runs out soon, got to make the most of it, I went up to see about getting a decal replicated. Set off down the road and just had a moment of forgetfullness to the power that lay beneath me. A quick flick, or rather full on twist of the rockn roll juice and YEEEEEHAAA  we launched. Bugger me.... Thought i was on my way to the moon. Suddenly the old girl is trying to point the front tyre skyward. I swear I thought I  just boarded a plane. damn near shite my self. :bad: Totally unexpected. You can see why the FJs are so popular. They can leisurely cruise around  in 5th at a crawl, :hang1: then next breath the sleeping ponies come alive. Needless to say my nerves needed a calming after the moment of excitement. :drinks: Got to admit. You dont get a ride like that at Disneyland......Slowly but slowly its getting ready for the road. Still got a bit to do. Garage therapy. You got to love it.

Tell you what though. The muscles in your arms and wrists certainly come to life during an adventure like that. :yahoo: Reckon I got fingernail impressions in the grips and I bite my nails. :shok:
