Fj1100 dies when hot

think they look the same as the ones here, mine was. a seca , had the yellow fog light under the headlight, , I had to sell her, was getting too silly on it, scraping everyrhing that could be scraped , , was running like a dog when I bought it, po had installed the wrong plugs  ,, i swapped the ridiculously pathetic front brakes with the half cable , half hydrolic set up for xj900 brake mc calipers ect and fitted a bikini fairing ,, should of kept it

Yeah, his is also a seca. He is a long way from being a peg-scraper yet, though... I think the bike will stay well beyond his limits for a few years. Good to know the XJ900 brakes bolt-in, I'll keep it in mind if he ever ends up wondering about doing an upgrade--unfortunately, that was a one year bike here in the US, so I'm sure they're not the easiest things to find around these parts.

As for you wishing you kept it, how many bikes could you need!? With 3 FJ's, that's the last thing I'd imagine you to be missing, haha.

 , had the shed space and plenty of money, would own a few ducati,s , couple of mv  agusta,s , vmax , xjr , rgv , 1100 wire wheel katana., just to name a few , , what can I say, bikes are an obsession that can't be tamed
