Hey guys just purchased an FJ 600 with a little damage to the ignition and instrument cluster, I'm in the process of ordering a new ignition as the old one was destroyed but wanted to make sure it starts before I order stuff. The wiring harness is in tact, with 3 wires that are red, blue and brown. Red and blue have 2 contacts, brown has one. My question .... is there a way to splice/bridge the wires so that the start button will work? And no...I'm not stealing a bike :p

This is an FJ1100/1200 list.
Not much info here for those 600 things.
Plus, doesn't matter what you say, your first post sucks, looks like some punk with a stolen bike looking for tips on how to hot wire it.

Agreed on the first post remark, I promise I really did just get the bike. Haha...there isn't much support for the 600s online, was just looking for a little help to get it going. Heres a picture of the bike ..If anyone has any sort of idea I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Ah, so you bought the bike from a guy that stole it. Much better.

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.
