I may have a source to borrow a set from an 89 FJ. Don't get your panties in wad just yet, this is new teratory for me. But the bars seem easy enough to duplicate.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

have my ears crossed   :morning2:, , just happen to have an 89 model  here, shouldnt be too hard to make them work for my 84  :wacko3:
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
