Rally WV Deer Strike WV Special Stage 13 - After over 300 miles of racing I slam into a deer on the final stage. The deer was able to run away under its own power. Look for the full version on my channel to see the slo-mo.
NOTE: This is closed course racing (road is closed to the public) so both sides of the road are fair game. I don't condone crossing the yellows or speeding when on open roads.

Comments? Notice he rode past the first deer, no brakes applied.

Hell man, you did not miss a beat!

Hope you and the machine were ok after the race amp wore off.

Not me. Shoulda said that in the post. Just a vid a friend sent to me. I copied the caption directly from the website.
Again. I'd like to say that was me but... not.

I follow David Hough's "Proficient Motorcycling" first rule of (large) wildlife encounters: Stop as immediately and safely as possible. You can NEVER anticipate what a deer/elk/moose/horse/cow/rhinoceros,elephant is going to do. AND.. if you see one roadside animal.. there's likely to be more.
