Hello to you all!

Im Mike from East of England.  I have been on here a couple of months and pestered a few of you already for bits and pieces of info.  You have all been very helpful, patient and knowledgable and willing to share that knowledge and i am grateful to you all.

Well i have a 93 3xw.  I believe the bike was owned locally by a chap who had several bikes and rarely took it out. He toured a bit around Europe and then did a couple of miles locally to keep the battery ticking over.  As such it has only got 4800miles on it.  Does anyone have a lower mileage example, im not showing off just interested as most i have seen are 40k and over!

I have had a few fat and heavy bikes before like a 1994 Suzy GSXF600, but none with so much torque/power, such weak brakes and such small tyres!  well i have taken on board the opinions and advice of you all and fitted braided lines and R1 stoppers up front, a fazer master cylinder, a GSXR rear, dogbones adjusted accordingly (rear wheel now sits as good as flush on the floor when on the centrestand).  18-42 combination on the gearing.  Now turns well (i have found myself sitting in the long grass at the outside of a corner before now!!), stops well and once the new rear michelin road pilot 2 beds in im sure will go well to. 

Next job is to change the mirrors to CBR ones, hyperpro springs up front which should help with the inevitable weaker front end once fitted (i hope) and eventually a new rear shock.  In the mean time i shall enjoy some rides and when the weather draws in turn my attention to some of the minor cosmetic details, paint and shiney bits!

Will do my best! I'm not a Luddite by any stretch of the imagination but haven't really done forums as such before and may need a point in the right direction with the 'how to'. If it is a simple as copy and paste I will be ok.  I have kept seeing peopl make reference to 'the gallery' where they have posted pics. Either it somewhere dead obvious and I'm being a muppet, or my eye sight is failing me coz I'm buggered if I can find it!

You mean where it says gallery and has a camera and a picture on it!! i do worry about myself sometimes.

Now clutch right, brake left! or is it the other way round.....??
