Blast from the past...

Greetings all.  I can't even remember the last time I checked into the Yahoo Group.  But I joined Aug 30, 1999 and was pretty active there as ADM2K for a while.  Back then, I had a sad and tired '86.  I've since gone through a '96 CBR1K, an 03 Sprint ST, and am currently riding an '04 Bandit and a borrowed y2k VFR.  Through all of those, Kim still has her trusty '91 FJ.  It's just turned over 82K and was recently dyno'd at 96 hp at the rear wheel.  We took it to a guy to do the motor and he said we were crazy and wouldn't take our money.  He said for what it would cost and what we would gain, he'd be stealing from us.  Like many of you, Kim can't or won't find a bike that's a worthy replacement for her beloved.  She's ridden older and new FJRs, the ST1300, a K12R and others but deems them unworthy.  I will try to get some pics up when I get a chance.  No idea or interest in what spawned the new format, but I dig it.  ...as it should be.

No worries Bill,and welcome back.I had only been a member on the Yahoo forum for about 9months,but the camraderie and good will shown to all was obvious.I have recieved nothing but help and friendship from everyone on it,so it made me hang around like a bad disease,and now I'm stuck.I love it,Dave.
