I have a new set of progressive springs and a rebuild kit for the air system on the way. I'll figure this thing out. I never let this stuff beat me...

Well the new springs showed up, was able to get them in late sunday afternoon, Sheesh! Getting those caps back on, was a real p.i.t.a. but was able to put a few miles on yesterday late, then rode in to work this a.m. Of course new springs made an amazing difference. From what I can tell mr. "I rebuilt the shocks" did little but replace the fluid with engine oil, and pumped up the air assist to carry the front end. With the new springs and SPACERS, it doesn't even need air, it carries and handle's well for a 29 year old bike. I have to say, for anybody riding on 30 year old saggy springs, the $100 it took to do it right was well worth it, forgot how much fun these old bikes can be when things are actually doing what they're supposed to be doing....

That's a good thing.
