Hi,

I'm picking up my '90 FJ1200 (yeah, a pink striper) in a couple of weeks... this seems like a good forum.
This will be my 2nd FJ but it's been a while since I last rode in earnest.
I'm looking forward to it immensely.

I'm from Scotland originally, then lived in NC for 10 years, now I'm permenant resident of Oz.

Anyways, be prepared of some stupid questions coming up from me! (I always search before I ask though lol)

Cheers!
Dave

They shaved the beards of our mothers with razors made of bronze,
They stole all our good LP's and ate all the potato scones.

Welcome back to the Kookaloo zone. Pink stripe eh? Well still talk you.... Even help you with almost anything you need.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul

Welcome here Dave! Good to see you have "come back in from the cold" and picked up another FJ.

Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Hey Frank,
I lived in Dobson, then Elkin... not too far away from you in Greensboro :)

I liked NC pretty much, but I really like it here!

Thanks for the welcome guys  :greeting:

Cough Cough Splutter! Always great ta see another Oz face on the podium. We don`t have any snowmobils up here Dave, but if ya wish to give the long legs of the FJ a real treat, bring up some of ya new Victorian FJ mates to Bellingen NSW in march and we`ll compare suntans.  Doug
