Put the '89 on the lift for some overdue attention. New tires, chain and sprocket. Pulled the rear wheel yesterday and found this;



The replacement will be steel this time.

Wow.. That's right up there with the Kavin "sprocket of shame".  Was it not slipping?

Oh it was slipping! Yes I remember Kavin, that came to mind immediately.

apparently I replace my chain and sprockets long before it's time
