I recently purchased an 86' fj 1200 in the twin cities area of Minnesota in the US.   The man i bought it from said lost its mirrors from the garage doors closing on them.   I could tell it had been lain down. Not bad though,just a scape on the exhaust and the side of the engine and on the side of the upper fairing next to the turn signal. I started looking into buying mirrors for it, because i could not tell if there was a cop behind me.   I decided to go with bar end mirrors. they work okay. I'm 6',4" tall so looking in the mirrors is not easy. at least i can tell if I'm being pulled over.

Thanks for all the info. Do you have the brand name of the aftermarket mirrors that you put on your bike?

I use CRG Arrows, extremely good bar end mirrors, 6"3" for me.

Just replacement aftermarket mirrors for the CBR. The OEM Honda mirrors have a nicer look to them but will cost more.
