Contaminated brake pads

Yup, I did it to myself, got brake fluid on my new rear brake pads while bleeding the caliper and now the rear brake doesn't seem to work as well as it did before.
After realizing my f-up, I took the pads out, cleaned them off with lacquer thinner, and lightly sanded them.
Also wiped the rotor off with lacquer thinner, and rode the bike. Some braking did improve, but it now makes an odd moan as I'm coming to a complete stop.

Do I keep wearing them in, or am I better off just replacing the pads?

Hey Leon, get some 220 grit and on a flat surface, agressively sand your brake pads. Get all the glaze off..
....and then lightly sand your rotor.
You should be ok.
