Hola amigos:
Has anybody used Goldfren pads?. These are cheap in eBay and looks ok. The OE Yamaha R1 pads for my blue calipers are very expensive, even althought are perfect, so I am doutful

FJ111200

I'm using a set of front pads in my XJR. Same calipers as standard 3CV's, and i've had no problems, good as anything else i've used.
Some sort of ceramic based material.

Alf, I am using them in my rear calliper at present, and have a set ready to go into the front. They work just fine!

Hola!

Only to inform

I fitted a pair front in my CBX 750 2 months ago. Far superior to the previous ferodo ones fitted, the improvement has been incredible!.
When I was reading test from the CBX, all of them were speaking about the wonderful brakes. Mine were horrible, even with everything carefully restored and with metallic hoses, so I even adapted a FJR 1300 lever. Now I´ve refitted the OE one (I want keep the Honda original spec)

The pad material is very soft, and very similar to the Yamaha R1 OE pads that I fit in my FJ

For half of the price of the Yamaha ones I think the Goldfren deserve a try. I bought them from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Goldfren-Motorcycle-Brake-Pads?_rdc=1 Excellent people!
