Can the seal guard be replaced when the rear tire is off!

Arnie

Sorry Steveb,

I have no idea what you're talking about.
What is a "seal guard" ?  Where is it located? What does the rear tire have to do with it?
If you can supply a link to a parts diagram on a site like Boats.net

   http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/parts.html

Perhaps we can help.

Hi Steve

If you have an early fj you have to take out the swingarm.....see 37

If you have a later model it looks like you can get swap it out though access to the screws may be a bit tight behind the foot rest bracket...see 30

Note:I ordered one for an 86 from boats.net but they replied saying no longer available.Anyone know where I can get one?

hope this helps!

Cheers :drinks:
