How do the rebuild kits work on the clutch master cylinder?

My local Yamaha shop says good as long as the bore is not worn.

I have parts on order and want to ride my "new" bike but am going to wait till I fix the clutch.
The previous owner put a Magura unit on it but the clutch does not disengage much as the piston bore/stroke of the Magura must be too small. Really hard to get into neutral and creeps ahead when stopped.

I guess if the bore is in good shape, the rebuild will work fine?

No leaking from the slave cylinder.

I rebuilt my clutch and brake master from posts I found on this site. Use the search function and find the "How To'S" that make the most sense to you. If you have some mechanical inclination you will most likely perform a proper job. We are still here if you really need help. Check around, there may be a club member that works for beer like I do to help you on your first crack at it.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Also be sure to check and make sure you don't have a problem with the slave cylinder.

Slave not leaking. Thanx.  Just got my kit today and am putting in.  I am pretty good at the removal/replace on things. I will yell if I get stupid.

Thanx to whomever recommended the Harbor Freight snap ring tool. It worked well once I got it into position to pull the circlip to remove the old pieces.
I bought a Yamaha rebuild kit before I saw RPM's site. Yamaha's was twice the cost.  Oh well---- my question is the Yamaha kit included a shim. The parts I took out did not have this shim. Is the shim for adjustment or is it an upgrade?  
The first piece I installed was the seal; the one that needs to be worked over the inner metal flange/hub to get to position. This seal has a larger diameter inner sleeve.
The next piece to install is the shim??  It fits well here on the end of the post as it butts up against the inner flange/hub that has 3 holes drilled into it. Then the 2nd seal goes on and then the metal piece that holds the end of spring, then the spring?
