Steve C.

I've met several of the folks on this new list at one or more the East Coast rallies but we're usually so busy talking about the present we usually don't talk about our roots.

I started riding a "motorcycle" at age 15 when you could get a restricted permit in Florida.  The bikes available Honda, Yamaha , Suzuki had to be limited to 5 bhp, usually by the dealer running a screw into the carb slide limiting it's travel to about 3/4 WOT, my steed was a Kawasaki 90.  Since then I've had several bike including the famous (infamous) Kawasaki 500 triple H-1, Kawasaki 900 Z-1, Yamaha XS 650 and 850, XJ 1100, FJ 1200, Suzuki GSXR-1100, 600, 750, 1000, SV 1000, Yamaha FZ-1.  Suzuki TM-250, DRZ 400, RM 250, KTM 380 EXC.

My current street bikes are the 91 FJ 1349 and 07 GSXR 1000.  The FJ has a 98 R-1 Front end set up by Traxxion Dynamics, a 94 FZR-1000 swing arm with a Penske triple clickers (also Traxxion), Hank Scott Racing 1349cc motor with megacycle cams, FCR-39 carbs, Accel coils, 8.8mm wires, Dyna 2000 ignition.  Needless to say she makes tons of power and is the velvet covered sledge hammer version of an all out motor, affectionately called Thor!

Current projects are my new for this year 08 GSXR 750 track bike and the ongoing saga of the EFI project for the FJ.

Looking forward to seeing old and new friends at the rallies, rides, or here on line.

Hey Eric, you wouldn't want it, there is a chip in the paint right at the front edge of the tank ahead of the fuel cap.  So I guess it's safe unless you prefer a chip to a ding ;)

I wanna get it repainted to match the Vette anyway.  Change the Pearl White to the Silver in the stripes and the manly Pink to Red, base color to the Vette (Lemans) Blue.
