Finally the FJ1100 is on the road, she passed the test with flying colours and I got me a licence plate!  The benefits of this forum have been very handy!  Without it I would not have worked out how to remove the airbox to just start working on the bike.  Also the improvements suggested through various searches has been instrumental as well as my own improvements:
coil relay-worked a treat
re-routed and improved fuel lines-worked great
new seals throughout-I can start and stop
restored scottoiler-works great
rebuilt and improved choke system-so much better now
rebuilt and safety wired petcock-I still carry a fire extinguisher in the rack bag

Although there are still some things to do, like de-seizing the rear shock adjuster, the bike pulls like a train and rides so sweet...
So thanks for all the help, I also donated some dollars to help the site as I imagine I will need help at some point, hopefully nothing too bad.

Anyway, I'm going for a ride... :i_am_so_happy:

cheers, Gareth
