New Member with a leaky bike

Got it, I'm going to put it back together and check it one more time, hoping maybe it was a stuck float. If not I'll follow your step by step guide, type of beer, fire-safe surface,  and proper eyeglasses included.

Ok here we go, the carbs continued to leak so I am going to remove them and attempt to replace the o-rings. I'll order Randy's kit that you guys recommended with the SS screws and o-rings. I do have a question if anyone can help - how and where should I disconnect the throttle cables? In the carb how-to pics it showed them still attached on the carb side, which I would think would be preferable to save some re-adjustment. Also, I talked to the mechanic and he said all he did was clean them, put on new float bowl gaskets, and then synced and tuned. Do you think I will need to replace the gaskets seeing that they are only a few hundred miles old? The bike runs really great so I'm hoping I won't need to adjust much once re-assembled. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

When I dismount the carbs I disconnect the throttle cables dismantling the little box in the middle of the cables. Its easier than disconect them directly from the carbs and the remaining cables attached don´t disturb me when making surgery to my carbs

I´ve just to change the bowel gaskets because I have a set with my new carb rebuild kit, but last ones were there 20 years with a lot of reffiting, so you don´t need change them

Be careful when the float valves & seats.When rebuilding my carbs I didn´t notice that the pattern valves were a little different, so the fuel level was affected and my bike stalled below 2000 rpm. I had to disasembly everything again to carefully measure float levels  :dash2:
