there is a topic opened at this section about vibration  http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=2214.0 and I wanted to add my experience, but the system recommended me to open a new post because the old is more than 120 days old, so here it is

Really the only problem that I had in my FJ to be the perfect bike to me was the vibration: even with perfect carb setup, mint chain, tyres, torque setting and carefully maintenance, there were a lot of vibration between 3-5000 rpm, dissapearing above this range

I´ve just finished a carb rebuilt. First I changed the emulsion tubes and I ride the bike. I feelt less vibration and much better midrange. But the complete change come with the renew of the inners of the carbs: orings, float valves & seats, mixture screw assys, pilot & air jets, 2 liitle pins repaired in 1 slide membrane with PlastiDip... etc... WOW! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!. IT VIBRATES EVEN LESS THAN MY CBX750 that don´t vibrate anything, with a complete restoration finished 4.000 kms ago

I hope this helps
