this weekend i changed my grips to the foam one to go with the Vibranators I put in i also changed my chain to the 10000 lb and now i have more vibration like i had before i had installed the Vibranators.
Can a chain cause this or do i need to look somewhere else on the bike for it the only other thing i did to the bike this weekend is an oil change and installed the adapter.  i am going on the Nor-Cal ride tomorrow and i want to make sure its not something else

Double check your chain, definitely.  I use the string method to align the wheel, though the better answer is an 8' light bulb (mine broke, sigh..)

A chain too tight or too loose can give you all sorts of strange rough feedback from the bike and you'll think it the motor.

SlowOldGuy

Make sure your chain is not adjusted too tight!  That will cause a vibration.  You might try putting some excess slack in it and see if that makes a difference.

The best chain alignmentitem I've used is a cheap laser light, called a laser edge , about $10.00 on ebay 7yrs ago, very accurate for the price
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it
