Hello, when checking new piston ring end gap measurements, at what depth is the piston checked within the cylinder?
Using the piston upside down, to square up the ring within the cylinder.
I cant seem to find that in 2 manuals.
Thanks in advance...

I put a ring in the 3rd groove of the piston and set the ring depth to the top of the deck by that ring.
