Yilt

Hi to everyone. Good manners cost nothing, so hear goes. I'm 44 yrs young and live in South Wales in the UK. I've been biking since I was knee high to a Grasshopper. I've owned over 50 bikes from across the range, (Sports, Harley's, dual sport etc ). I've always admired the Yamaha FJ 11 and 1200 and always knew that one day I would own one. Bought a 92 a couple of days ago, rode her home for 70 plus miles and loved every second of it. It was like an instant bonding, like we belonged together ( Hope the Mrs doesn't see this ). I've spent the last 14 hrs stripping her to the frame and cleaning every nook and cranny, and gave her a full service. She has only 16000 genuine miles from new.
I'm over the moon with the bike, but i've stumbled across a problem, so i'll post in the appropriate place. But basically, i'm saying hi to you all, and hope that you all ride safely, and stay out of harms way. Many thanks for having me on the site, and I look forward to communicating with you all.

And *much* less expensive to maintain than the real thing.... (uuuh, so I've heard)

Welcome Yilt, you are doing her right, by giving her a full service....She will thank you.

Cheers!  Pat

Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.
