Ride Mt glorious at night. hit a bird or bat... dont know what it was.... what was a bit more scary was as i was coming over a hill onto the straight... my headlight picked up all these black dots hanging down over the road from the trees... bloody spiders!!! ( I was straight, well rested and coherent... i just hate spiders!!)   i have never tried to tuck myself into the tank so far!!! was worth it tho... about 5 mins later a big 'ol owl swooped of a road marker and flew in front of me... didn't hit it.... nor the carpet python that was laying on the road sunning itself taking up a lane and a half...( he was a good 7 ft long i reckon!!!)... the red belly black sunning himself on the road... reared up as i approached and went past.... chuckles... " the joys of motorcycling!!!!"

Thats a new one, never heard of a bat having a death wish

Brings back the memory of a barkeeper running around a nearly empty bar trying to swat a bat with a pool cue...

He never did get it, but the light over the pool table?  Well, it was never the same.       

The bat ended up flying back out the open door.
