Some of you know I am an instructor at a vocational school for heating /ac/refrigeration.

I have a student that purchased a 81 Suzuki gs650 in decent condition. I have watched it turn into a total piece of crap as he removed the turn signals and mirrors and put on some lame plastic snubbed rear turn signals and bent the mirrors for a low profile look. He broke a clutch cable and was using a pair of vice grips on the clutch arm by the right brake pedal so he had to lean over to use it as he rode off in 1st gear. He has also removed the side covers and painted them rattle can black and put colored tape on the seat to cover the rips. The rear tire is totally bald and you can see patches of cord coming thru it.

He finally got a new clutch cable but not before he bent his shift forks from changing gears without clutching so now it pops out of 3rd under power. I kept telling him he was killing his bike and if he didn't change his tire he was gonna die.

I offered to pay him 100.00 to wash and wax my service truck so he would have some money for a tire that I would help him change out.  He never showed up to do the work and when I saw him next he told me he had a better deal for money for a tire.

when it was raining in sac a few days ago he was letting air out of his bald rear tire for more traction in the rain.
this motorcycle looks and runs like crap now , he took a great clasic bike and is slowly killing it.

recently I found out he has no m/c license and no ins.

what the hell is wrong with kids these days?

This is a 23yr old dumass that will hopefully not procreate.

"you can't fix stupid"

Stupidity in people never ceases to amaze me and irritate the hell out of me. A lot of things come down to plain common sense.  Be forwarned, the following stories are true..

before i got really sick I worked as a data communications specialist 3'rd. I also helped out on the help desk side when things were slow and they got back up. So a friend on help desk takes this call from a Lady that is having trouble with her till (cash register) with a blank screen. He has her run through standard checks like checking power button, and power cables. Then proceeds on above call of duty and has her check the fuse box in store. while she is checking this she informs my friend that mall security keeps stopping by and they are getting aggitated because they want her to leave because they lost power!  :scratch_one-s_head:  :ireful: :dash2: :flag_of_truce:

Second story is another friend of mine was in a grocery store and they lost power, so they direct everyone to leave the store. He approaches the automatic door and comes up behind a lady that is just standing there. He said what are you waiting for, because she has this puzzled look on her face. She says to him the door won't open, what do we do.. He goes around her and tells her.. "Lady.. push the door open"  :dash1:

Wow that sux.

I know exactly what you mean though. I'm 23 and I look around at some of the people I know around my age and wonder what the hell is wrong with them.

It's seems as though common sense is know longer a common thing.
