Hello from northern British Columbia, Canada!!
Well I went and did it. Bought a 1985 FJ1100 that needs some work. Looks like it sat most of its life in an open carport. Since the speedo cable had snapped, PO is not sure if mileage is 117k or 17k. He got the bike as payment. And owner before him says same thing of the mileage.
Well the bike is completely disassembled and awaiting its new attitude.
Being a previous RZ350 owner, it should be interesting. ;)

Welcome to the Campfire Tony,

Great place here to help you to resurrect that 85 1100!

Have you been able to ride through those Rockies much? That would be on my to-do list for sure!

Another rider from BC, great! where abouts in northern BC are you? There are some excellent roads up in the interior and some even better ones headed towards the coast. The collective knowledge of these folks around here is amazing. For parts have a look at rpmracingca.com Randy is also an abundance of knowledge with these bikes and a great and easy guy to deal with, he will help in any way he can to get you going. There are also many other resources listed in the vendors list and the files section is great.

Look forward to seeing you around
