Kickstand switch, clutch switch, killswitch.  Probably something stupid.  Check for power at appropriate places.

irishluck

I know we have checked the kill switch. That one is working fine. Can the kickstand switch and the clutch switch or something really cause it to have no spark at all? I never did think about that, i mean i know the kick stand switch when put it gear and is down that it will die when giving gas and letting off clutch.

Yea, start at the sensor and follow the wires back to the closest connector. Unplug the connector.
You now have 2 plugs, one plug and wires goes to the sensor... and the other plug and wires goes to the ignition.
With me so far?  Follow this carefully....
On the plug that goes to the ignition, there are 2 prongs in that plug, one for each wire, bridge or tie those 2 prongs together with a piece of wire.

Follow this carefully, or a loud popping noise will come out of the engine.

We need a Smiley for this, plugging his ears with his fingers, waiting for "Kaboom".....

irishluck

i bypassed both sensors, no spark still, so ignitor?

or should i check something else

irishluck

carbs are spotless, new jets, needles, everything.

but what would that have to do woith having no spark?

irishluck

so i turned the bike on. Just in the on position. And checked the output power of the ignitor, its only getting 6v, shouldn't that be getting 12v?
