One other thing I have seen done and tried (on my 750 triple) is to take a file and just knock the corners of the pads, it worked for me. Then again it may have just been luck and the fact that I took them apart cleaned and reinstalled everything.

Yamaha original and remember if your disks are original dont use Sintered pads.

Jykkeh .... tell me more about the sintered pads ... presently my brakes do squeak as well but just under light pressure and near the end of a slow stop.  Next week I am upgrading to Blue dots but the original discs I will be keeping  on but I have bought new sintered pads to install.  Should I change these and if so what type should I buy.   I was hoping with the brake upgrade I would also eliminate the squealing.   The dealer recommended the sintered brakes.
PS - I tried the anti-squeal/vibration spray on the back of pads to eliminate my squealing but with no change.

Sometimes a VERY little bit of grease between the pad backing plate and the shim plate will eliminate the squeal.
Be careful to not get any grease on the disk.

Follow-up to some suggestions.
First- Ed, I tried the very same product you pictured in this thread last night, followed instructions and still has the same noise coming from the front brakes.

The pads are marked with "Sumitomo" on the back side.
Are these OE pads that would have come with my calipers?

Plenty of material left, so I plan on getting the use out of them before changing them out.
Just would like if they wouldn't squeal.
