tacho- i kinda miss it

Peeps - about two years ago my tach quit. Since I'm in mode fix things - thought i'd have another stab at an answer. I tested the wiring and all looks good so it's got to be either the gauge itself or the coils being weak surely. Since the bike runs alright - must be the clock???

Has anyone an idea of what you should see on a multimeter if you read across the wiring block? I read that a tach counts pulses from the coils.

Or is this the wrong line of inquiry.

I sort of miss that tach thing
