Hello everyone,

The following links are several of Northern California riding and [apologizing for the delay] one of the West Coast Rally (sort of) and one of the Tail of the Dragon during the East Coast Fall Rally. I will have more of the ECFR before too long.

Merry Christmas and safe riding,
Mike Ramos.

2:45 looked scary, made for more than one kind of skid mark I'd wager...

Looks like fun...

Wow..

Sorry if I've missed this from any previous threads but what happened at 2.45 in that first video? Was that a cop off to the side? I have done a similiar thing where I was distracted just at corner entry by an object off to the side (cow that I thought was about to attempt to cross the road - actually was behind a fence) and so I missed my turn in point.. ended up in a very similiar way to that...

Nice videos though  :good2:

Starts at 2:41 and seems to be distracted by the bicycle and the leaned over sport bike and lost track of his own bikes "track" OK recovery but potentially a disaster.

Nice riding in those areas. I would not critique anyones recovering from potential disaster. I've been in similar situations. Crossing at a green light can be a potential disaster here in Las Vegas and most likely many other places. There is lots to be learned on a daily basis riding on that kind of road for me. Had cruisers all my 35 plus years of street riding until this spring when I got the 84.

Re: 2:45 of Tale of the Dragon.   Well, I am not really sure what happened, but I think the the front end let momentarily [hit an Aulstraian pine cone]. I would like to say that I planned the little off road excursion, but I just kind of hung on for the ride. I was quite lucky another vehicle did not come around the turn before I got back on my side of the road.

The only cop that i know of is at the end of "An Early Morning Ride" as I was going over the top of the grade.

"A California Cruise" is over the top of Hwy.36, which is really in poor shape. I think the eastern side is better and less traveled than the coastal side. Just my opinion though.

Merry Christmas and ride safe,
Mike
