FZ1 master cylinder - how to wire the switch when converting from original

I just saw a post for the FJR mst cyl and I didn't think about the wiring on the upgrade to blue dots.   I have both pieces now the blue dot calipers and a FZ1 - 2001 master cyl ( 14 mm ) but in looking at the master I don't see any mechanical switch.  The original FJ has a mechanical switch that seems to screw up from underneath and the rubber cover actuator works with the lever.  The FZ1 does not have this and I don't even see where I could mount a switch.   I know this has been done as I have read most of the post but I can't recall seeing anything about the wiring.

Let me know if you know ...thanks all

Steve, Someone pulled the switch. The Yamaha P/N is 4HM-83980-00-00. It goes right on the bottom of the master. One thing you might check is the FJ switch might bolt on, That would be the simple and cheep fix.

Good luck you will enjoy the brakes.

Steve, maybe this will help.  I just bolted it on, bled it and connected the wires.  I don't remember doing anything fancy with the wires.

i just looped the switch on mine so it was always closed

basically, make sure you actually have the clutch in before starting, otherwise it'll start either way and you may not want that.

thanks all and Ed, I see where it bolts now -- I see the problem now -- my caliper has a broken bolt covering the hole where the switch mounts so initially I couldn't see where anything would bolt on to --even after I compared it to the FJ.  But from the pic I see it is very close to what the FJ one is -- but the FJ one won't work so I will order from the dealer.  I have to also get the broken bolt out and it will all work out from there
