So i`ve smashed the top engine case on my CV trying to get that bolt out of the mount (you know the one i`m sure). I have another engine here , can I mix and match the engine casings on the FJ I know on some bikes you can`t because they are linebored but dont know about the FJ , I`ve done it with smaller bikes but a lil advice would be great . The other engine has a damaged bottom case from a mate that came off , this one has a damaged top one from me being an Idjit ..lol . If I can combine the 2 that would be a great help . This isnt off the CV in the pic BTW thats sold . I ride a XW now the CV i have is my second bike and is a project.

Ta in advance for any help .

Buy a car ? Why in the hell would I want to do THAT ???

I don't think you can mix case parts, they are match machined. However, Randy can provide an expert's comment on this as he builds these engines.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
