Per Wikipedia: The Tea Party protests are a series of protests across the United States that began in early 2009;

FBI mugshot of McVeigh
Born    April 23, 1968(1968-04-23)
Lockport, New York, U.S.
Died    June 11, 2001(2001-06-11) (aged 33)
USP Terre Haute (Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute)
Terre Haute, Indiana, U.S.

So McViegh 'expired' about 8 years before the party existed.
Yup,I'm sure.

Ooooh, you quoted Wikipedia.  This is expressly against Klavdy's rules -apparently it has something to do with the fact that it *could* be wrong or some shit.  Given the title, you may have to find another source.

Just sayin.

What, you're sayin' he's not a "Tea Party" type?
Well thank the good F.S.M for that.
We're now talking about things other than Amsoil oil threads.

No, not against any so called "Rules" of mine, not at all.
Wikipedia is so open to abuse and distortion that it shouldn't be quoted as a definitive source.

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit.

In other words, folks can make stuff up and stick it in a Wiki.

Told ya, Ed.

Klavdy, as I'm sure you know, it's self policing/ correcting.  Go ahead, and put in something intentionally wrong about the FJ or the Tea party, in this case, and see how long it lasts, not long I'd wager.  Net net, it's a fairly informative source of information about an awful lot of stuff.  And any idiot knows to verify your information with multiple citations if it really matters.  Are there inaccuracies?  No doubt.  But it's not a bad place to start.  Arguing otherwise is foolish.

Something wrong about the FJ?
Heretic!

My argument is not about using Wikipedia as a source to start looking for further information, no,and to the best of my recollection, it never has been.
It is about using Wikipedia as a definitive reference,THE definitive reference in all too many cases.
It is a good place to start, that we agree on.

As for you, Mr Ed, AAAARRrrffffghhh course I'll be there to stir you up.

Me & Ed, we're mates, him and Mrs Ed are coming to stay with me in Australia.
