That's damn good mileage you got out of those PR2s.  My D205 Dunlop only saw 4k.  How do you ride that you get that type of mileage?

It's kinda mute now as I have a 17 inch rear.  But I am just curious.

No idea.  I've always seemed to be able to milk good miles out of tires.  Back when I was running K591s, I'd gotten over 21K miles on each of two sets.  With the D205s, I would get about 15K miles.  

On the FJR, the first Avon Storm was cupped and done at 5K.  Changed that out with another, as the rear Storm was still good.  Changed them both out at 10K for the PR2s.  Rear was done, but the second Storm front still had some miles left on it.  

Loved the PR2 mileage, hated the way they felt.  Rode to work on the Angels today.  They feel really nice, so we'll see how well they rack up the miles.  May have a trip to Memphis next month (odds aren't good though, given budget considerations).
