Jeremy Clarkson is a comedy genius, and a car guy to boot.

Over here we now have an "American" version of the show, which, while moderately entertaining, sucks horribly by comparison. The American version has Tanner Faust (some Tokyo Drift guy), Rutledge Wood (some NASCAR guy), and Adam Ferrara (supposed actor and comedian. Only thing I've ever seen him on is Rescue Me, and he wasn't funny there, either). Oh, and The Stig. It's a straight rip-off.

they had a good couple of christmas specials over here recently (uk), one was a us road trip and the other was following trail of the three wise men
from iraq to bethlehem in cheap convertibles, new series on soon.

I saw the Three Wise Men episode and I thought it was really good. The BMW purchase seemed a little sketchy, though, as it appeared to be outside the purchase price rule. I wouldn't have thought that the Fiat would be the best selection, but in the end that was the car which prevailed.

Ooh, sorry; spoiler alert.

Man, I love that show. The kids and I must have watched almost every clip on Youtube.  Best line- " The chassis is 30% stiffer, and truth be told, so am I ! "

One of my favorite lines was when they were testing a Chrysler Crossfire and they read from their data sheet that it was "aerodynamically limited" to 155 MPH. Ha ha ha!
