Hi all,
I've been on the Yahoo list for a very long time,
Still haven't found the right FJ for me but I am still looking.
What I want to find is a 1991-1993 FJ1200. I just sold my old
rat-bike Honda, and I'm in the process of road-registering my
'92 Yamaha WR500 just so that I'd have "Something"! to ride

However, a '92 FJ1200 needs to find a place in my garage sometime soon.
I could travel, perhaps as far as Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinatti, or Akron, OH area to get it.
If you find one, let me know, OK? It's got to be clean & be able to make a five hour road trip.

Why not just buy Bobs, Its nice, Its in northern Ohio, and he has a great start on all the popular mods/upgrades.

I hadn't seen that one! I'll have to bookmark that auction f.s. and show it to my wife!

In the mean time, I just got a license plate for this bad boy, just this afternoon!

Those are, believe it or not, DOT approved tires.
It'll be equipped with brake, horn, mirror and headlamps before it actually sees pavement though.
I half-expect to get pulled over so I want it 100% ready for Michigan roadways. The muffler is about 94 db.

i know a good handful of us would vouch for bob being a generally good guy without overall psychotic tendencies, and thus you shouldn't have any reservations dealing with him.

Thanks for putting 'overall' in there Dean, I was going to have to correct your reply. Every now and then, some pop out despite the meds...

That WR looks like a fun ride  ;)  I've got a 90 WR250 that needs a rebuild, and have my 03WR450F legal and plated.... no better way to commute!  ;D
Good luck finding a good FJ, sounds like Bob has a nice one...

Now I just have to get my wife on-board with it. Bob's looks like a good candidate for sure.
