Hi Guys,

Does the FJR1300 rear master cylinder fit a '92 FJ1200?
Or are there any master cylinders that fit, for that matter?

Thanks,

Bill.

My guess would be no it won't, but if you know the distance between mounting holes, you could just prove me wrong.

I think I have a spare rear master cylinder in my shed somewhere if you need one..... its from a '90.

speaking of rear masters cylinders...    I called my local yami dealer inquiring about a rear master rebuild kit for the FJ1100.   I am friends with the parts counter manager as he digs the old FJs and doesn't get too many in these days.    Anyway, the kit is now listed at his establishment at $81 US dollars.    Something about Yamaha not wanting to be in the parts business any more and wants us to all buy new bikes.   YIKES!    I'll see if mine is able to 'clean up' or if the parts bike is worthy...  after that, it will be down to the breakers to look for a swappable unit.   ugh     :ireful:   He also noted that overnight, the FZ1 fuel tank went from $500 to $800+ at his dealer pricing.       :dash2:
