Are the '86 and '89 rear brakes systems interchangeable?

I believe all bar the front discs, and callipers Brian......you would have to obtain '89 fork lowers, callipers and rotors. Why not an '89 front wheel while you are at it.

The '89 I'm working on has rear brake 'problems' and it's probably easier to replace the parts on this bike rather than try to repair them.

You'd look kinda silly with forks mounted on the back of the bike though.

Rear brake systems should interchange across all years.

Where are you Brian?
I have a couple of rear callipers and a rear master here that are yours for the shipping costs.....but I'm in Aus...... maybe someone is closer to you?
