Am I reading this correct?

"I felt that the Renntecs made an equal difference.  Besides the protection, they stiffen the frame up a bit"?

This is the 1st I've seen of it.

i experienced the same effect after installing the renntec's on my FJ.... definitely seemed to add stiffness to the frame.... enough where i could feel the swingarm flexing on hard acceleration out of corners.... which of course led to the FZ1 swingarm/rear end swap to eliminate that flex.

Yep, that's what I meant.

I think the Renntecs make about the same amount of difference on the frame that the Superbrace does on the fork.  Adding those two items to my FJ seemed to result in a much more solid feel, a side benefit I really hadn't considered before adding them, but it makes sense.

Of course I screwed up and lost my SB when I swapped over to that YZF fork...  I need to order another one.

Randy, try the SuperBrace website.  I got my YZF brace on closeout for a good (better anyway) deal.

Thanks, Ed, I had no idea they were closing them out.

EDIT:  Found them on the closeout link, duh.
