WON the ET-2 class last night at Greer SC

Had a ball and a whole lot of luck at the all bike drags at Greer dragway, Greer SC last night. Besides the top fuel harleys there was a good turn out for the ET-1
(pro tree) ET-2 (bracket race) and street eliminator.
My '87 FJ1200 ran like a bracket machine on the new, super sticky 1/8 mile track surface. It trailered a wheelie barred, air shifted Harley in the first round, two ZX1200 kaw's the next two rounds. I lucked into a bye run in the semi. (good thing as the shifter stuck going to third) Made my best pass of the night in the final. Cut a .0018 light and ran a 6.852 off of a 6.85 dial in to beat a CBR900. Just one of those lucky nights when I couldn't do any wrong.

BTW: one of the top fuel harleys ran a 4.2 second run then went 195mph on his next run. If you ever see these guys are going to be at a track near you, GO!

Even hogs can be made to fly with an application of enough nitro methane and technology!
There is a Nitro event coming to Greensboro NC on Thurs Oct 7. If you lookup Piedmont dragway it has the details.
