89fj12 NO SPARK

OK got it fixed.so i checked the start switch its OK also kick stand switch OK and it still wont turn over. check the battrey. its   OK ran a ground wire to the frame and to the battery still wont turn over .so i went back  to the battrey and saw a small black box its about 1 inch x 1 inch  and pulled it off to take a look at it  .and pluged it back on and tryed to start bike and it fired right up wow that was cool turned it off and tryed it again it did no fire up so i taped on the black box holding the starter button on at the same time and it fired back up .anyway it turns out its a Bosch 12 volt 20/30 amp unit part # 0332204150 and found it on line for less than 10 bucks .at first i was thinking it was the coils or the igntor that's Big bucks so i got lucky by finding this but that's cool .i think it would be a good thing to keep a spare Bosch unit like this on the bike just in case you are on a long ride and it takes a dump on you like mine did i was lucky to be by the house when my bike stop ruining  .OK that's it for now.thanks for all the info have fun riding .Russ covina cal
