Used Parts For Sale (Poway Motorcycles)

Hey all,

Just thought you should all be aware of a Motorcycle Shop out of Poway, Ca.  It is called Poway Motorcycles.  This is a great source for your used parts, new parts, and machine work.  If you are in SW area of California, this may be a great place to get your service done on your bikes as well.  

I had all my machine work done for my rear FZR1000 rim set up done by Poway, as well as replacing my sprockets and chain.  Bud and Bill are a wealth of knowledge and can help to get your bike set up properly and affordably when going to this set up.  Plus, Bill has logged in over 300,000 miles on the same FJ so he is definitely a fan of the FJ.

Please check out their site.  When you find a used part you are interested in purchasing please use the "Contact Us" link and direct your email to Bill.  You need to tell him the part # (under photos), or the box number for the part.  Bill may have a price for you on the part, or he may ask you to make an offer.  Being a savvy FJ owner you should know what the part you are looking at is worth.  Just remember to consider shipping.  Oh, please be patient with Bill, he is running a Full time shop and it may take some time for him to answer your e-mail, but he will answer.  I'm sure any purchase you make from Bill will be well worth the effort.  I just made a purchase and it was 4 days start to finish, now I am just waiting on the part.

Phil......there are at least 2 full sets of plastics for '91+ in that lot, and at least 1 for pre'91....... and a heap of parts..... shame I'm not in the USof A.

I've also recently been emailing Bill at Poway.  He has again been more than helpful and even though I'm on the opposite side of the world he has gone out of his way to clean up a part for me, accept my first offer and ensure I knew exactly what I was buying from him.  It's in the hands of the post services now and I have a tracking number to track the USPS part of the journey.

I'd also recommend to give him a go
