Hi all,

We're on our second FJ1200, an '89. The first one was an '87 that we put 50K miles on before selling. This one had a Supertrapp 4-1 when I got it, and that's about it. List of mods now includes: VFR cartridge/tubes in stock sliders, Progressive front spring (for now) R6 rear shock/Hypercoil 1K, FZR 1000 front rim, YZF600R rear, YZF brakes, custom billet top with V45 adjustable bars, rewired electric distribution, Uni-pods on short stacks, jetted/tuned stock carbs, active LED stop/tail lights on the Jensen tool kit top bag. That's it off the top of my head.

My other bikes are a '79 XS1100SF that I just picked up, and a '75 CB400F with 8800 miles on it. That's completely stock, as I'm only the second titled owner ever.

I'm in southern Maryland, near Solomons Island and Patuxent Naval Air station. If you're down this way and need a hand, drop me a line.

Yours in the spirit,
runnamukk

Like your handle .... fits right in with the Kookaloo!

Nice list of very functional mods.... i always liked the 89's as they split the difference between the early small fairing bike and the late model bike that were more touring oriented.

KOokaloo!

I used to live down in St. Mary's and work at Pax.  I'm a little north now, south of Annapolis.  I still get down there no and again to visit friends.
