On the subject of bargain air travel - do other parts of the globe have insanely cheap deals? I've just bought two returns from Edinburgh, Scotland to Memmigen, Bavaria, Germany for £20 ($30) each (1,600 mile round trip). I've never heard of the place but it looks ok on Wikipedia. A weekend of wiener schnitzel & dunkel beer seems ok. Also the World Cup Final is on and hopefully Germany will be there - sorry Englanders.

Here's the deal, see, I only work 16 days out of every 28.
I get ample time off to play with my friends.
Tell me when you are arriving, you'll be picked up at Brisbane Airport ( about 60-70- miles north of where I live).
You will have a place to stay (your own bedroom) an FJ to ride, or if you bring your Mrs, a car to drive around Australia.
