Hi Everyone,

I'm posting here on behalf of my friend. Unfortunately, his bike was stolen on New Year's Day.

The bike was taken from the London, Ontario area, near the Canada–US (Detroit) border. It's believed the person responsible may be someone from the local area, or possibly someone who knows him.

This bike means a lot to him, and we're really hoping it can be recovered in one piece, rather than being taken apart or sold for parts. If anyone has seen this bike, noticed anything suspicious around that time, or comes across a similar bike being sold online, please let us know.

Bike details:
• Model: 1990 Yamaha FJ 1200
• Color: Midnight Blue
• Location stolen: Oxford St W, London, Ontario

A reward is offered for any information leading to the recovery of the bike or its location.

Any information, no matter how small, could help.

Thank you very much for your time and support. :morning1:

It does not matter how slowly I go as long as I do not stop.

Even though I'm a bit further away, in the Erie region of PA. I'll keep an eye out for signs of its presence.

That sucks. Regularly check FB market, Craigslist and eBay for parts, maybe you can track it down that way.

FJ's are rather rare so they will have a harder time parting it out than say something more common like an R1.

Seeing those engine bars for sale anywhere would be a big clue you don't see those for sale too often.

Same with that gas tank.

Sorry to hear this Mario.

That is a YZF600 front end and the rear end is from a 1997 YZF1000 ThunderAce

Keep an eye out for for those parts.

Thanks guys, appreciated.

Frustrating for the owner...

We still think the bike is in one piece, hidden somewhere....

Time will tell.

There is no honor among thieves post signs in the area and online with a $ reward for tips leading to its return. Chances are more than one person was involved or has knowledge about it
