scratched tank,

had a shop mishap, tank tumbled and got scratches and minor dents on top. Beautiful FJ black tank, heartbroke but fixable, looking for a dark wax type compound to blend out scratches, any ideas. still have Yamaha emblems outside effected area, hope to hand rub top only.
