I see, so you've not actually done a vinyl wrap, but you've added individual graphic pieces.  :good2:

As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. Most bikes look a lot better from 10 feet than they do close up, so I wouldn't worry at all - just get out and enjoy riding your FJ - its a great bike and a bargain to boot !

Not sure what you mean, I used 3m vinyl wrap to try to make the gas tank match the stock colors on my bike. My stock tank is three colors but the tank I'm running is a 91 with 2 of the 3 cooors being different. There was no reason for me to put white wrap over the white paint on the top of the tank that already matched.

What I meant is that in the industry a "wrap" is where each piece of bodywork is covered by a whole single piece of vinyl. Specific graphic details (images or multi colour patterns/designs) are digitally printed onto the vinyl film before it's applied to the bodywork. We did it successfully for a couple of race bikes, but they weren't worried about the finish quality, or the durability, as the bodywork never lasted very long. In the end, they went back to painting or just putting decals on base single-coloured GRP/fibreglass, as it was cheaper and quicker.

What you've done, by using individual coloured pieces, isn't termed "wrapping", it's usually termed as "cut vinyl graphics" (where individual pieces of single colour cut vinyl are applied as individual colour sections). It's just one those instances where the terminology can make a big difference when asking for advice/practicality and prices. :good2:  - and being an industry "anorak", I've seen how the terminology can cause expensive misunderstandings.
