Tried to get rid of a wobbly clutch lever and ended up snapping the bottom threaded part of clutch lever pivot!!

Wanting to replace unit, maybe with an FJR1300 unit which appears to be cheaper. Also want to do break master cylinder unit too eventually as I've heard the FJR1300 master cylinder might be better for the blue dot callipers. Any advice? Thanks.

Look for a 14mm brake master cylinder like the FZR or FZ1 masters, there are other 14mm masters out there besides these two.
Your oem FJ brake master uses a 5/8" or 16mm piston and yes, the FJR brake masters are better due to the 15mm piston size, but IMHO the best match with the Yamaha monoblock calipers (e.g. R-1) are the brake masters with the 14mm piston size.

The FZR or FZ1 brake masters also match the FJR clutch reservoir. The adjustable levers are frosting on the cake.

Notice that I sanded the DOT 3/4 info off my clutch/brake reservoir lids because I'm running DOT 5

Cheers.  Pat

Hi Pat, That's great, thanks for your advice. I've now managed to source a cylinder as advised. Cheers, Jesse.
