I know this was covered elsewhere but-
I have a 3CV 1989 FJ1200, I have two questions
  • Will an electronic ignition CDI from an 1991 onwards 1TX work on my 3CV, if not is there a list of different models?
  • Are all coils for the FJ the same i.e 3 ohm primary, if not which models differ?

I doubt a 1TX igniter will work on a 3CV model without some modification to the connection parts though i could be wrong.
I've posted a picture from the Haynes manual (naughty boy  :diablo: ) with the specs for the ignition coils.
If you haven't got one then get a manual, Haynes are not too expensive and can also be down loaded as a file now.
